By the Grace of Allah, we welcome you! The United Muslim Masjid is proud to have been part of the Waterbury community for the past three decades. We are committed to serving the Muslim community and the Greater Waterbury area through fostering a safe environment for worship, islamic education, dawah, community engagement, and social gatherings.
Our location is 3125 N Main St, Waterbury, CT 06704. Please join us for weekly Jummah at 1PM.
Announcements
Ramadan Announcements:
1) Isha' prayer will be at 8:20pm for the first 10 nights; 8:30pm for the middle 10 nights, and 8:40pm for the final 10 nights.
2) Tarawih will begin directly after Isha Sunnah.
3) Completion of the Qur'an will occur on the 29th night.
4) We will be having iftar nightly in the masjid.
5) Tafsir class will pause for the duration of Ramadan. However, on some days, there will be a short reminder between the 4 Raka’at of Tarawih.
6) Tarawih will be 11 Raka’at. Tahajjud will be in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Special mentions: On March 16th and March 23rd, Tarawih will be 21 Raka’at.
